TERMS OF SALE

Homestead Auctions reserves the right to vary terms of sale and any such variance that will become a part of these conditions of sale. By bidding at our auction, wheather present in person or by agent, by absentee bid, telephone bid or other means, the buyer agrees to be bound by these conditions of the sale.

Homestead Auction reserves the right to withdraw any lot prior to the sale of the item.

All items in the sale are sold "AS IS, WHERE IS" condition. All items are displayed in preview as well as during the auction with help from a floor worker for your inspection. We will try our very best to call major infractions, if any, either by our catalog, catalog tags or verbally at time of sale. All items are sold with NO RETURNS

No one under 18 years of age is allowed to handle any of the merchandise for any reason or allowed in the gallery display area. You must be 21 years of age for handling Antique Guns, Guns and Swords and we are a Licensed FFL Auctioneer.

Merchandise that is left here longer than five days without prior permission will be charge storage fees. If here longer than a month will be resold and moneys forwarded to owner less storage fees & commission.

The terms of the sale are cash, travelers checks or personal/company checks. There is a 10% Buyers Premium Charge on All Purchases unless otherwise stated for Saturday Auctions, 5% on Tuesday Nights. Internet Bids could be charged a service fee. If you are out of state and writing a check you must either get the auctioneers permission to write the check or have a current bank letter of credit.

Absentee Bids: We will accept bids by phone or by leaving a bid with us. We will require a current Mastercharge of Visa Card for security of bid or 50% of maximum bid in a cash deposit. The attending audience will have the first right of bidding, we will bid your absentee bid competively. There is a 15% Buyer's premium for absentee & phone bids.

No disputed bids please. Once a item is sold, it is sold. We will not resell a item for any reason. We try very hard to catch all bids. Please hold up your card in clear view. We will not allow you to bid against yourself or raise your own bid.

Unless exempted by law, the buyer shall be required to pay any applicable Federal excise tax and state and local taxes on the purchase price.

Homestead Auctions may, at our discretion and as a extra service to buyers, arrange to have purchases packed, insured and forwarded at the request, expense and risk of the buyer. Homestead Auctions assumes no responsibility for acts or omissions in such packing or shipping by Homestead Auctions or other packers or carriers, whether or not recommended by Homestead Auctions.

Homestead Auctions has tried to accurately describe all items being sold, but all items herein offered for sale is strickly "as is" and its the bidder's responsibility whether bidding in person, by mail, email, or by telephone to determine the exact condition of each item. No statement of any advertisement, bill of sale, invoice, or by any representative of Homestead Auctions shall be deemed to be a warranty, representation or assumption of liability to the age, condition, size, quality, variety, importance or historical revelance toward any of these items for sale. Any such statements are strickly matters of opinion only.
